AN ANCIENT GAME
From The Nuevo Inca Collection
The Aztec called it Patolli, a game for the royals. It’s a time so long ago, that we don’t even know how it got to our shores and became Pachisi, or Chaupad – The game Pandavas lost their wife to.
From kings to kings, royalty to royalty, these motifs have seen more history than is recorded. We think of them as imprints of the nobility, a connection between lands.
